How does it fly?

Lovely sunny crisp day, for once.
While walking Brown Dog spotted (could hardly miss it) an air ambulance helicopter on the local rec.
I was intrigued that they steer it with a fan.
Then onto a park where I couldn't resist a Shadow Selfie- in the extras
