Bake

It’s very nice to be able to nibble on an almond croissant in the cafe at Company Bakery while looking through the window at the bakers making your food. As they charge £4.60 for an almond croissant I hope those guys are getting well remunerated. I needed a sit down with a cup of tea when they told me how much the croissant was. Still, I could have picked up the £8 loaf by mistake which would have led to some scenes.

After I’d recovered I went back to pick up Joe then headed home via the harbour for him to refuel with a more financially acceptable sausage sarnie.

Osh is currently having their first driving lesson in a year and Ruby is at work. Later I’ll be rustling up a fish and leek pie then watching Liverpool v Madrid. And at some point I’ll have to try and make sense of the fine I just received for an alleged driving offence in Italy in 2022. Could be a scam but then I do vaguely recall some issues on one of the toll roads although as it was two years ago the details are somewhat sketchy.
