La vida de Annie

By Annie

Loki.

After a nice quiet weekend, the excavations began again at 8am, and then some workmen, doing something unspecified in a hole in front of the house, said they were turning the electricity off for 2 hours, so there was nothing for it but to go out. We went to es Mercadal to get more paracetamol from the pharmacy, and killed a bit more time at Cas Sucrer over coffee. Loki loves sitting by the outdoor tables watching passers-by, and no longer lunges at them unless they have a small snappy dog and a mean expression. With more time to kill, we went into Mahon for a few groceries, and, leaving his nibs in the car this time, had another coffee and a cheeky bit of food porn (see extra) in the supermarket cafe. What's not to love about a tartaleta - thin pastry base lined with dark chocolate, filled with custard and topped with fresh fruit with a jelly glaze?
When we got home the demolition crew had gone on a break, and the power was back on although the hole was much bigger.
