Sunny faces

The forecast for today was awful but it seems to have all happened south of us. Not good for these already suffering floods. Grace sent me some pictures last night of floods in Larkhall, the village just below them at the bottom of the hill.
There is a stream, the Lam Brook, that runs along the side of the road that has burst it’s banks.

We went into Keighley to pick up Chris’s new glasses and then had a look around for a berry wreath for the door. I think I’ve left it too late, there were non in my usual florists in Bingley yesterday and a look around Keighley Market showed that there are no flowers in there at all. It is a long time since I’ve been there but we did get our wedding flowers from there admittedly some time ago now!!

A coffee and a trip to Lidl on the way home  where I saw these lovely Viola faces in the pots (5) on top of the wall up the drive.
