Vegan meet up

This evening, we ventured out to a local vegan meet-up. Honestly, when I got home from work, all I wanted to do was crawl into my pyjamas and declare the day officially over, we’ve got a couple of things going on that was bringing our mood down AND it was the GBBO final, but we’d paid our deposits so rallied round, bought beer and took ourselves off. I’m so glad we did—it turned out great. The group was such a great mix of people, all very welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. I was the designated driver, so it was a zero-beer night for me—probably for the best on a school night!

By the time we got home, I felt genuinely uplifted—exactly the kind of midweek recharge I didn’t know I needed. I’d definitely do another one of these meet ups And I still managed to watch GBBO on catch up… I thought Dylan would have won but well done Georgie
