Helping hands
The day started well as I drove over and parked in front of a huge pile of golden leaves. I just had to have a kick as I got my stuff out of the car boot.
A few of the parkrun team were attending a 'Winter wellbeing' event in the United Reformed Church and I spent a couple of hours there telling anyone who was interested about parkrun.
I was not disappointed that the table next to us was occupied by guide dog volunteers and their (large) puppies. I spent quite some time sat on the edge of the stage engaging with the dogs, moving to the other end of the stage to enjoy a little piano.
When i got back to the office it all seemed quite dull so I ate a mince pie and went home early early
