Complicated

Looks to be rather a complicated unravelling as this peony opens - all shall be revealed over the coming days, possibly even tomorrow.  Pretty at any stage, its background is my rather large patch of flowering astrantias.  The Canon 70-200 has softened the background nicely.
I've been out for lunch with my besties (well three of them) and fully intended to get a photo of us but we were having such a great time that photography was forgotten.  Lunch extended to 3.30, we noticed someone was sweeping the floor, figured it was time to leave, they close at 4pm.
