Met up with our friends Keith and Mairi for lunch at Scotts in South Queensferry this afternoon.  A lovely drive there in low winter sunshine and stunning views of the Fourth bridges.  

It's the first time we've been there and certainly won't be the last.  The food and service were amazing.  Great to see Keith recovering so well after his recent surgery.  He will be able to play golf again from next week so he and D quickly got two rounds booked into their diaries.  Mairi is delighted to be getting him out from under her feet after six weeks convalescing! :-))

Took photos of the bridges as we left the restaurant but it was cold and I was in a rush to get to the shop downstairs (that I'd spotted on the way in) before it closed at 5pm, so didn't pay any attention to my camera settings. 

Sadly the quality of the photos is rubbish but the good news is we made it into the shop with 10 mins to spare and I saw a beautiful wool jumper in my favourite shade of blue and cream, and D bought it for me as part of my Christmas :-))

No dinner to make so feet up for the final of the Great British Bakeoff.  My favourite won :-)

Now finishing back blipping as for some reason my external hard drive wouldn't link to my lap top.  D managed to fix it this evening, thank goodness!
