Powered up

Can’t remember the last time I read a novel in a day. But I enjoyed this one, which TSM  bought for me yesterday in Windsor Waterstones. Very well written, flows nicely, a book which affirms life and emotion over science and bureaucracy. Some pandemic themes but not overbearingly so.


I was on fire in terms of domestic duty but exhausted come early afternoon. The mind is willing but the flesh is weak.Well, old. Still managed an evening walk with TSM though. So a good day.
