The Renew Hub

I went along to the tour of the Renew Hub with the craft group today. I couldn’t believe it when Alison greeted me when we arrived!! I had completely forgotten she worked there. It was wonderful to see her.

The hub is amazing. It sorts through things that can be sold on, reused, recycled, upcycled… in fact anything that means we don’t just throw stuff away. There was everything there and it was really interesting.

It was freezing in the building BUT…..my new heated gilet arrived yesterday, so I pressed the button and I was lovely and toasty. I’ve done lots of overtime lately and so I could treat myself (plus there was money off in the Black Friday sales).

Fun with new friends, an interesting tour in my hot gilet and then a haircut this afternoon made it a good day.
