Put to the limits …

A perfect garden day except the grass was far too wet and it was testing the mower to its limits. As the motor reached a crescendo I had to stop and remove the cut grass with a trowel. I suspect this will be the final cut of the autumn. Hope I didn’t wake the hibernating hedgehog! Thank you to those who kindly encouraged us with our hog housing skills. Hopefully it will stay with us throughout the winter.
