Another day trip out with M . . . this time by bus to York to discover the turntable near York Station and the National Railway Museum . . . the NRM is undergoing a revamp . . . already behind time it is a total mess . . . very few exhibits on show . . . and the free area where children could watch real-life locomaotive restoration in progress replaced by some pseudo-computerised experience . . . costing £15 to get in . . .
