A new find

A poem by Hugh MacDiarmid, born Christopher Murray Grieve.

Hopefully someone knows why I found this beautifully written on a front door in Leith. I sure don't. Is it just because it mentions Leith, or is it something to do with the fact that this poem is inscribed on a wall of the Scottish Parliament building?
