Seen in Turku

I've no real memory of the circumstances behind this blip (I'm uploading it on 27th July 2013), though I do know it was taken in Turku.

We realised that Helsinki had closed down for Midsummer and we weren't going to get any buzz there. Our local contacts suggested that an overnight trip to Turku might be a good idea, and even recommended a restaurant. We got the train there and stayed overnight in a hotel in Dockland. There was good bus service from right outside the hotel in to town, and we spent the evening there. The recommended restaurant was closed (because of Midsummer!), but we did find one of the moored boats along the river which was open and where we had a nice meal.

We explored a bit, found a nice bar, had some beers and got a taxi back to the hotel. Somewhere along the line I took a shine to this bit of glassware and liked what the sunlight was doing to it.
