Doing Penance...

Seems I have misbehaved? For playing with that new tree toy the woman put in the window yesterday? Right there on my favourite sleeping spot? What's with that? If that thing wasn't for me, then why put it in my sleeping spot? So, apparently I am not to play with it? Just sit and look at it? I am allowed to chew and knock all my other toys about, so why is this one different? 

Sometimes I just don't understand how that woman's mind works...

Whatever, I am in trouble. She says that to make up to her for knocking that little tree over, I have to let her take flattering photos of me for one week...no turning away, no running away, no snarling or looking grumpy.. I am to co-operate and try to look cute, innocent and charming, perhaps even sophisticated. Photos she can post with pride. Apparently that will salvage my online image somewhat and reassure her Blip followers that she does indeed have a lovely, well-behaved cat...?

If she is that concerned about my image, then why-oh-why did she post that photo of me knocking the tree over in the first place? Geez...I just don't know where her head is. 

But ..I will co-operate anyway  - it's just for a week - especially if it means that the giving of treats will soon resume..I have noticed that they have been temporarily "discontinued".
