Flower arranging display

At our Ladies Circle today Jean gave us a demonstration of flower arranging.  A member of our church, Jean comes from Gifford, a village in East Lothian, but has lived in EK for a long number of years.  She was rather amazed that I could tell her the name of the local pub in her village.   There are few places we haven't walked through in Scotland.

  She had lots of amusing stories of her childhood as well as being a talented flower arranger.  

We were all given a free raffle tcket, and all the flowers were raffled at the end of the display, during our tea time.  It was noisy and fun.  I of course did not win anything, what's new?  

Bob is off with the club today to the east coast, and by the look of it the weather is holding up so hopefully they will have had a fine day.
