A real improvement in the weather today .... Storm Bert has blown away & we have beautiful sunshine :-)

We had a lovely walk this afternoon ... saw several Pied Wagtails catching insects in the flooded farmer's field (Extra 1)

We slithered our way up onto the riverbank (still muddy from the rain) .... we saw Swans, Ducks, a Moorhen & also a Little Grebe/Dabchick (Extra 2)

We saw this beautiful Kestrel as we were on the way back home.

She was hovering above the riverbank lit by the light of the setting sun .... she looked so beautiful she just had to be my blip :-)
