Alstroemeria

These are filaments and anthers of the alstroemeria, some of which were blipped by 59 recently.

It's been quite hot here today, but not uncomfortable. There's a heatwave over much of SE Australia.
Compensating (almost) for the cold winters, and the expense and bother of keeping it warm, our house is wonderful in summer.

If you're in Australia, there's a lovely movie on SBS World Movies tonight, 'The Quiet Girl'.
