Thistle

I think this is a dried up thistle. It caught my eye when I walked the nature preserve on my lunch hour. It looks like there is a good chance the siding will be done tomorrow. Then my husband will have some work to do when he gets home. He needs to put back the storm door and there is  molding that needs to go around the interior side of the door.. His honey do list never seems to end. He is quite exhausted right now. They were running very late at the mill yesterday and they told him to come back today. He called me here as he was waiting for the process to finish, Greek time it was 3am! He said it was cold and very windy there today and he had to bundle up in layers. Very unusual for that island.
