Echinacea still blooming

We were trying to rake some leaves at one property this afternoon, but not being very successful. The wind kept blowing them around. We did manage to fill the back of the truck. While the crew was working I had a walk around to check to see what was left to do. This echinacea is still bravely blooming. 
We have 2, possibly 3 more days of work, plus another half day, then that will be it for this year. It's been a long, but good season. We started the second week of April, which is average for a start time. Normally we are finished by mid-November. I have already sent out over 30 more invoices than I did in 2023. And the number of quotes that I did this year was almost double of what I did in 2023.
I unpacked a few more boxes in the office tonight. Baby steps. I am looking forward to having some time off so I can get things organized here. And get out and start walking again.
