THE BOY
Neil messaged to say he wouldn't be too busy with work today and would I like to visit. So I walked down to the village and caught a bus at around 12.30pm. it was the direct bus that went straight to Neil's village.
Neil met me at the bus stop. We walked to his house and were greeted by an excited Luna. Of course I had some treats ready. She had extra treats as it was her birthday yesterday. She was 3 years old.
It was lovely to see Neil and we had a good catch up. We keep in touch every day but I hadn't seen him in person since 13th Sept.
I took a photo of Luna as she was lying on the sofa. As soon as she heard the camera click she jumped up and started posing right in front of me wanting more photos taken. So funny. Ive added an Extra collage of Luna photos.
Before we left to go to the bus stop I took this photo of Neil for the Mono Monday challenge... the theme is " Someone you cherish ". Thanks to jensphotosfor hosting.
Neil and Luna walked with me to the bus stop and then they went straight back home as Neil needed to get ready to go into town to the Newcastle match. I got a bus to Swalwell and did a bit of shopping in Lidl. Then a bus to The Metrocentre and straight on to another bus home.
After eating my meal I fell asleep. Woke up at around 9pm.... and realised I had missed the first half of the football match. Quickly turned on the radio to find that the score was Newcastle 0 West Ham 1. Oh dear. Things got no better in the second half as Newcastle tried to equalise. Lots of substitutions which seemed to make things worse and West Ham scored again. Final score Newcastle 0 West Ham 2. Bet Neil is wishing he hadn't bothered going. He was already amazed at how much he had to pay me for his ticket .... it was £47.
