"Somewhere, over the rainbow..."

I take it as a good omen, on a Monday morning, to look out of the kitchen window and see a rainbow. Officially we are still on the edge of  Storm Bert, which seems ot have passed us by. Apparently these new storms now have another label:” multi hazard storm “because we get snow, rain wind and ice all within a few days.
This reflects the diverse and uncertain nature of storms arising from climate change.
During a chance meeting with a neighbour  I happened to mention  I was still waiting for my flu and Covid jab when she informed me she had hers from our local pharmacy.
 
So I rang up and sure enough I can get it instantly, well, tomorrow afternoon.
It seems I am not alone in having been missed out. The pharmacist tells me she doesn’t understand why so many have slipped through the NHS net.
