Winter Stripped

Basil and I took an excursion up Leicester Road on Cecily, passing this acer en route now totally stripped of its Autumn leaves. They were particularly  lovely (see extra). Just a month ago. Can winter be far behind?

We now have two broadband connections. An engineer arrived this morning to connect us to the Openreach network via Vodafone. The Virgin Media connection is still operating but I don't know for how long.
