DIY and Lunch in Casa Joana, Sarria

I’m still chasing my tail. We had a morning of DIY - put up two paintings and a small mirror and wall-mounted our new hoover. Then we cleaned the top of our kitchen cupboards, where we display vases and bowls - it’s a 2-person job and it’s not too often we’re both doing house things and have the small ladders out - I took full advantage!

Then up to Sarrià for lunch at Casa Joanna, one of our very favourite and long-standing restaurants. We go less often these days as their new hours post the pandemic don’t suit us so much. Excellent as ever and we both had our favourite dish, espinacas a la crema - creamed spinach.

My blip’s of a little fruit and veg shop display on our walk home. Stopped in L’Illa to get a new battery in my old Swatch.

An enjoyable and productive day. Note that there was no desk work for either of us today!
