Wall

It's a long story but this was my view as I waited for my darling daughter to finish glazing some pottery. 
I saw quite a bit in this wall that must hold something of the story of it: different coloured stone - repairs or an extension? some loose-looking top stones which are in place thanks to gravity; what was the little door for? Coal? I must ask the owner if he knows.
