Deer Party

We had quite a fun deer event at our house at breakfast time today. First a buck and his lady friend (who were both here yesterday evening eating peanuts - but I had already blipped and couldn't be bothered to change it) - they seem to be a *couple* of some sort - which strikes me as odd, but whatever. I thought the ladies tended to run away from the males, but he was definitely following her around and she seemed fine with it. In this photo he's the eldest buck. 

Then a group of five or six more arrived - two younger bucks and a couple of adult females - one of which was "my girl" - and one young one born this past spring. The two younger bucks are the other two in the collage. The older buck ultimately chased the younger two away.

Anyway - it was quite an event.
