Crinkled (Day 3486)

Back to the bathroom re-fit this morning after collecting sheets of wet wall. I got set up outside to get the wet wall cut just before the rain started forcing a move into the garage. In between measuring and cutting wet wall I called the GP and embarked on another session of jumping through hoops so I could see a doctor. I was successful and got an appointment to see the GP at noon. 
The GP listened to what I had to say about my sciatica and said that the A&E doctor had written to say what he had done and his assessment of my condition. I now have another different kind of painkillers to try and apparently an "urgent" referral for physiotherapy and a referral to the spinal unit in Aberdeen in the hope they can do an MRI and see what is causing me so much pain.
I collected more drugs and headed back to work. The painkillers made me a little bit clumsy for an hour or so, but didn't seem to make any difference to my pain level.
Despite all of that, I made reasonable progress with the bathroom, but was very glad to get back home to my beautiful wife
