St Mungo

Ramblers Scotland are holding their AGM in Glasgow next year. Our local group has agreed to lead some city walks during the lunch break. My, somewhat reluctant, contribution will be a shortened erosion of the St Mungo Trail visiting his tomb in the Cathedral, extra, and Smug’s mural in the High Street, it depicts one of the saint's miracles when as a child he brought a bird back to life. I recced the route today.

The day was further improved by a chance meeting in John Lewis with C who had been on the Lofoten trip in July 2023. She lives just outside Glasgow so it wasn’t that surprising, we had a great catch up.
