The days fly past , this shot was taken on Saturday as we drove throughthe Peak District to Chesterfield. The presence of both sets of grandparents had been requested to assist with Florence’s birthday party . We were a bit concerned about the weather but all was fine . The maternal grandparents had more of an adventure as they also drove cross country , from Norfolk , as their car ended up stuck in the mud and they had a long wait for the rescue services.Thankfully they arrived in time to do their bit . It was a lovely party , community hall type venue with a bouncy castle .
The rest of our weekend days were taken up with packing up to go and then unpacking afterwards. I wish you were able to travel light ! We just can’t do it .!
