Presentation Night
Much more relaxing at the rugby club today than of late, lots of odds & ends out of the way, more planned in but require some parts purchasing.
Disappointed that the defibrillator remains “out of service” but we await replacement pads.
Still relatively good weather but the warnings, yellow, for high winds, heavy rain and the effects of the wind/tide combination.
The evening was spent at T.S Hichens, the Falmouth & Penryn Sea Cadet Unit, and their annual prize giving. Those who follow my Blip will know that we had one in February but the plan by the unit is to synchronise everything to the years end.
The evening went well, today’s photo shows Richard, of Friday Coffee, but also Falmouth RNA Chair presenting the RNA Cadet of the Year Cup to the worthy winner, the award comes with a bursary for a weeks sea training.
The ‘extra’ shows the winner of the Stevens Cup, presented to the Best New Entry Cadet.
A glass of wine and handful of peanuts made do until I reached home for a late dinner.
