Cherished Memories
Another week's begins.
I went to the pool earlier than usual as I had a hair appointment when we normally go swimming. It was lovely to be in a warm pool when it is raining outside! The wind was also blowing!
On getting home it was sunny - and windy - so I managed to half dry the wet costume and other washing outside.
Haircut done and I remembered I really needed some Christmas Cards as I have my first 'lunch' tomorrow and would like to give cards, not send!
I don't send many via the post but have a Jacquie Lawson account and use that for most via email.
Popped up to see Terri - with a scruffy mine pie and enjoyed a cup of tea with them.
Home - and not blip. Gulp.
I do have a shelf with lots of smallish items collected on my travels so they hold cherished memories. The beast is from India and the sandstone head of the African woman has been with me in various homes for over 30 years now. Lovely to remember the heat from those journeys whilst sitting here feeling a tad chilly!
