Still Standing Proud and Strong

COP29 ended with almost everyone being unhappy with the outcome..It was at least a reminder that world temperatures are still rising and pose a threat to life on our planet. Much of the publicity about the event has focussed on money and how much political will there is to tackle harmful  emissions. Anyway, more people now know that Baku is the capital of Azerbaijan and there has perhaps been some additional confirmation of what we already know about the political and economic realities of the world.
Today's blip is Great Staple Tor on Dartmoor. The huge granite outcrop looks out over western Dartmoor as it has done for hundreds and probably thousands of years.I was so pleased to be able to get out today after the departure of Storm Bert. As well as Great Staple Tor I managed to visit 4 other tors on my walk.
