Cherished

A cherished item for Mono Monday
A couple of old pocket watches which belonged to my grandad, passed on to me by my dad.
They weren’t working when I got them but have been restored. The man who repaired them  didn’t seem to think they were of any great value. I’m not bothered about that. I just like them. This is just one of the two, it was tricky to photograph both.
They were made by Frank Larard, jeweller and watchmaker of Savile Street Hull.
There’s a photo of a similar one on tinternet dated 1892.
