A Cherished Item

Are part of a silver five piece dressing table set that belonged to my Mother. The two pieces missing are the comb and the clothes brush. But these three items sit in front of my mirror in the bedroom.

An early start for me this morning as my car was being collected for its annual service and MOT at 8am. Storm Bert seems to have cleared off to pester somewhere else. There has been sun and blue skies, with one short sharp rain shower earlier.
