Storm Bert part two

This morning it's blue skies and mild breezes... Last night not so much.

The Willow was a loss, particularly to the willow tree itself. Lots of discussion in the village forums as to pollarding or removal, and appropriate professionals will assist in that determination.

The main shot is of the main road east out of the village, and the local high tech electronics company. Janet and I were trying to persuade drivers not to try it, while I arranged for a proper road closure. Most agreed. One was already sat by his car, now a write off, waiting for rescue. 

A taxi driver decided he knew better, and made it about two hundred metres in before realising his error. A huge 4x4 driver (the 4x4, not the driver), pumped up his suspension and said he was fine with it. Then bottled and decided against a ten thousand pound engine replacement.

The extra is of the farm entrance, nearby where it is proposed to build access for another two hundred and fifty houses...
