Darling Harbour

We arrived in Sydney and collected our hire car. Didn’t get a lot of sleep on the flight but we were too early to check in to the hotel (The Grace) so we explored some of the sights. The opera house area was interesting and we decided to return for a proper tour tomorrow. We then headed to Darling Harbour to look at places to eat and drink, and to see the possible boat options for a harbour tour.
The hotel then told us our room was ready early so we headed back, had a rest, and went out again. Lots to see and Sydney is very young and vibrant. We are at a very good Italian place near the hotel, which is also a lovely place, very Art Deco but with great facilities.
