Stepping stones

There was so much overnight rain the path to our shop was flooded. We put in stepping stones to help customers reach us, one lady said it reminded her of the stepping stones in Dovedale, Derbyshire, somewhere we visited many times as children.
The rain lessened during the afternoon and our journey home was much easier than the numerous flooded roads we encountered in the morning. I love my job but storm Bert has done its best to dampen my spirits this weekend.
