Brugge

Today we woke up in Brussels after a late arrival last night we stayed overnight ready to get an early train to Brugge.

When we arrived we checked in and then headed out for a day of exploring.

We walked all around the beautiful town, enjoying the Christmas markets and chocolate shops. I think we went in them all! We went to the old chocolate house to try their famous hot chocolate, where you choose what chocolate you want and then toppings, they bring you a mug of hot milk and you stir in your chocolate until it’s melted. It was delicious!

We then carried on shopping and exploring. Stopping for lunch and a mulled wine to warm up as it is freezing!

Tonight we went to a Flemish restaurant and had beef stew which warmed us up nicely!
