Jack had a late start to his working day today but wandered outside his flat to find the building next door on fire and the street filled with fire engines and ambulances. Quite how he didn’t notice the noise of them all arriving is a mystery because Milanese emergency vehicles are not the quietest in the world! No one seemed to be injured though thankfully.
