In the garden a long time ago…
Such a blustery day…high winds but so warm at 15/16C
This morning I did a bit more Lego sorting and also books to see if any can go to the charity shop. I got out all the Dick King-Smith books that were my daughters and gave them to her when they came at lunchtime. The twins I’m sure will work through them quite quickly, they need to go to the library every week for new supplies being voracious readers now.
We had a lovely roast lunch - pork, apple sauce and lots of vegetables.
This afternoon I have been doing more of my Life Story and a question about gardens/ gardening. So this photo was taken when I was little ..the gladiolas look rather big. My mother grew lots of flowers including lots of gladioli , dahlias, roses and sweet peas. She did flower arrangements for the church and we always had some in the house on the sideboard. I have realised today that in this photo I am wearing one of the few dresses I still have!
