Surprise!

This is Penrith station this afternoon.  The train was to go to Manchester airport, but didn't. We were told no train would be running south, but the reason wasn't clear. 'Dad do you fancy a drive?' So off we went on the M6 south.  A was on his way first to NZ and then to Perth, places he had been (and worked.)  Traffic was OK and roads weren't affect by snow, just wet.
