Video surveillance

Locals had been complaining about unhoused people at the park downtown. Since it wasn't illegal for people to gather, there wasn't anything the city could do. So the city banned food and drink at the park.

Recently this police camera setup was put there. I didn't see anyone loitering at the park, so I guess it's working. There is a similar camera thing at the parking lot of the grocery store, which I don't understand. Maybe cars were being broken into?
