November Snow

I was shocked when I got out of bed in the morning to see so much snow everywhere! Only a little bit was forecast so it seemingly came out of nowhere. Not to mention the fact that, before this year, I can't even remember it snowing in November before. And now it's happened twice this week! 

It was also very strange as the morning started at -2°c and by evening it was about 14°c. The snow was all gone when we left the house again in the evening. 

I do love the snow though, so it was really nice to see. Though Leeds council decided not to salt the roads at all, so driving to Aldi felt slightly precarious at times. There wasn't many people there though, so the shop was quite quick! 

Football obviously ended up getting cancelled, which was both a relief and a disappointment. So I ended up spending most of the day on my computer after cleaning the kitchen. 

In the evening, Sophia, Flora, Sadie, and I went to the cinema to watch Wicked. I also ate wayyyy too many snacks. The movie was good though! It was well written, funny, and definitely didn't feel like nearly 3 hours. I also found it interesting to learn how they had built the Emerald City instead of using CGI or green screens.
