Tenterhooks

US Election Day and I am on tenterhooks. I was feeling complacent until today but now am concerned and staggered at how many will be considering casting a ballot for old Donnie Trump, over the much more competent and personable Kamala. I’m in a timezone quite far ahead of the US, but I’m still glued to coverage, especially the nail-biting closeness of the polls. Nervous of what the world may wake up to.
