Storm Bert

I did go out to Pilates first thing but after that we hugged the house all day, slipping out to the barn here to get something, but hurrying back.  We are so surrounded by trees that I am always nervous in high winds, particularly today when that poor man was killed by a tree falling on his car in Hampshire.  

I made acorn squash soup for lunch from an fiddly American internet recipe off the internet, it was actually delicious.   And then made a Nigel Slater venison stew with dumplings for supper.  Also delicious.   Apart form that I put a handbag up for sale on Vestiaire which is far more complicated than Vinted.  Only worth doing for something valuable but even so I am not sure how often I’ll do that. 

Lit the fire and watched the last of Alma’s Not Normal and then an episode of Bad Sisters which is less fun than last time.
