All Elephant No Castle

Last minute trip to the capital to accompany F’s daughter to a couple of dancing lessons.

If I’d have known sooner we would be in the Elephant & Castle area, I’d have planned better.

The beloved elephant sculpture I remember from my youth has a temporary home and alas was too dark and unlit to get a decent photo…the weather was rather horrid too and I don’t know how many of the 10 original elephants remain from the Elmer trail of 2019 but we found three.

Nice to see some money has been invested to rejuvenate the area and we also had the best meal in a while at a great Italian place.

Stupidly busy and far too many people but 2 gentlemen gave up their seats on tubes to and from Kings Cross for me :)
