Kaleidoscope

A very long day for me today. I had a click and collect to pick up, in one direction, and I was travelling in one direction for that and then I had to come back again exactly the opposite direction pass where I live right to a town opposite direction to pick up something that I ordered nearly a week ago and I was going to lose if I didn't get it, it was the snow and ice that stopped me picking it up sooner. I didn't think it was worth the risk in that very bad icy weather. But today I was braving rain and high gusty winds. Got drowned each time I got out of the car, 



Then as I was coming back home, something else came in a couple of days early, my phone alerted me (a silent alert on the home screen, I do not have noise alerts when I'm driving). I had just stopped to have a cup of tea from my flask to go with a pastie I had just brought. I do like hot beef pastie for treat from Greggs. And it was piping hot. 



So I decided to go and pick that up so I wouldn't have to go out another day. By the time I get home I just crawled into bed, electric blanket on and went to sleep. I had driven nearly 50 miles....It was a catching up day today, normally I would have just picked these things up more leisurely on separate days.



And now I have the lightweight snow shovel I wanted!!! I did have one but I couldn't find it, but I shall put this one in a safe place....



All I want to do is sleep until tomorrow...
