Snoozy

I caught this mourning dove snoozing on the edge of the heated birdbath this morning just after putting a vegan coffeecake in the oven. Awake earlier than I would have liked, I snuck downstairs to feed the cats and make coffee. Yes, in that order, but my baking noises eventually woke MrsP up. So, like this sleepy dovey, we’re enjoying a low key kind of day, along with the kitties • It’s cold, raw, and rainy outside. Other than feeding the birds I’ve hidden indoors doing laundry and making a vegan beef stew for dinner. It will be yummy while we watch Jim Gaffigan’s new Netflix standup comedy special.
