Marjorie's ramblings

Snow and sleet

I slept well and needed only a couple of paracetamol this morning. I’ve been fine all day, but have rested very quietly. I can’t say that my back is better but it’s too soon to be sure.

Michael came to collect Margret’s washing and drove off to Hexham in Margret’s car, via the slippery road through Wall and Acomb.

Margret was not transferred to Cramlington and was in much less pain today. I had a chat with her at lunchtime. She has a drip because she was dehydrated after yesterday’s problems.

Today was the tenth anniversary of Guy’s death. Michael read her the obituary from his funeral. His visit has been very special.

He brought me some delightful washing from yesterday……

I finished knitting a hat for myself for the Christmas period and I’m forcing myself to stitch up a matinee coat. I watched the Moonflower Murders and listened to Dickensian to pass the time.

The snowy scene from my lounge did not last as the temperature rose this afternoon.
