Studio portrait photography workshop

The Crown Street Camera Collective was invited by Street Level Photoworks to attend this workshop run by Hassan Nezamian, a wonderful photographer and teacher. We had a great time and the girl volunteered to come along, initially as my model but due the awful weather, ended up posing for everyone. I love the photo I took of Mark, one of the collective and fellow blipper Pigeons, who was taking his time posing as Hassan took us through different lighting setups. It's been years since I used studio lighting so it was good to spend a day remembering, learning and experimenting.

I got rid of all my Canon equipment in the Spring and I was amazed at how quickly I had forgotten how to use the 5D IV.

A day well spent with a lovely group. I hope the girl likes everyone's photos.
